A snowball fight during your summer holidays? Here in the Pitztal valley, it is actually possible. Catch the Gletscherexpress taking you on a sightseeing tour over lush alpine pastures, up to the mountain station at 2,840 m.a.s.l. Up over the glacier you can take part in an informative guided glacier hike offered Tuesdays and Thursdays. Another highlight is the Café 3440 – the place to warm up, dine & drink while enjoying breath-taking views.
Go on an adventure together with Steinbock Pitzi, our friendly mascot, here at the Rifflsee lake. The popular hike around the lake is pram accessible. The children's playground at the Restaurant Sunna Alm entertains, while parents relax in the sunshine with refreshing drinks after a delicious traditional meal.
The Hochzeiger hiking region awaits with plenty of exciting highlights. The Zirbenpark includes 14 stations teaching hikers all about the "Zirbe", the native pine tree. The ZirbenWasser situated at the mid-station is the ideal place to cool down & refresh during your hiking day. Saving the best for last, the thrilling ZirbenCarts are the most fun way to race back into the valley.
